SCRATCH FARE, DRAUGHTS, COCKTAILS, AND WINE

 We are lifelong members of the Goldthwaite community with family hailing from Central Texas for almost 100 years. In discussion about what we wanted for the future, there came a dream of renovating our great-grandfather's grocery store into a Texan proud mercantile and restaurant. 

Opening our doors in Goldthwaite in 2020, Southside Tavern offers a menu of dishes influenced by local ingredients, culinary traditions, and things you just can’t get ‘round here! The mercantile is housed up front for now, but it's moving in 2023 to our adjacent space!
